Rustic Barn Wedding
When it comes to wedding photography, only a small bunch of venues can compete with the timeless beauty of Wyresdale Park. Situated in the heart of Lancashire, this breathtaking wedding venue has long been the perfect choice for couples looking for a special day. I was delighted to photograph the wedding of Natasha and Jack and it was delightful to return to a place which has captivated my heart so many times before. With its rustic charm and exquisite natural scenery, Wyresdale Park never fails to impress.
Natasha and Jack are an amazing couple, and we connected straight away on a gorgeous engagement session in Liverpool shortly prior to their wedding. We had a superb time together, and I had the opportunity to learn more about them and also meet their extremely dynamic dog, Moss. It piqued my anticipation for their wedding even further. Come the day of the ceremony, I was fully aware it would be remarkable.
Wedding at Wyresdale Park
The day started with Natasha getting ready in one of the venue buildings with her friends and family. The atmosphere was super chill, and everyone had a great time. The building where she got ready had fantastic rooms for portraits, which we used to capture some stunning shots before the ceremony. Natasha looked absolutely beautiful in her wedding dress, and I must say, her bridesmaids and parents’ reaction to her walking down the stairs was priceless.
To avoid bumping into each other before the big moment, Jack was getting ready on the other side of the farm in the Keepers Cottage, lovely little place. It was a great thing that B&G prepares at the same place because it allowed me to take wedding photos of both of them. Bride and groom had a fantastic time, and I could tell they were both really excited for the ceremony.
A smaller barn served as the venue for the ceremony, I shouldn’t say this but this is one of the top ceremony places I work at. As the newlyweds signed their marriage licence, one of the groomsmen played the guitar for them, adding a special touch to the already special and lovely moment. The newlyweds left the ceremony with a confetti throw before going outside to enjoy some drinks and mingle with their guests. I was able to photograph everyone at the wedding who was truly happy at this precise moment.
The perfect weather and stunning sunset that we used to take some outstanding wedding portraits have been two of the highlights of this April celebration. To take some more interesting photos with their wedding party, the couple also prepared smoke grenades in multiple colours. You should already know after seeing my previous wedding that I do LOVE these kinds of photos. They were impressed with the outcome and the absolutely stunning photos that were produced at this rustic barn wedding.

The evening was as wild as I expected, with the dance floor full of people dancing and jumping as if there was no tomorrow. I love that kind of wedding, where everyone lets their hair down and has a great time. And if that wasn’t enough, the couple prepared sparklers for everyone to finish the night big. It was a fantastic way to end the day, and I was so happy to be a part of it.
It was a true pleasure to be a small part of Natasha and Jack’s wedding at Wyresdale Park. The couple was lovely, the setting was wonderful, and the day was filled with beauty, love, and joy. I consider myself fortunate to be able to capture these moments and produce lifelong memories as a wedding photographer.
