Do you remember the kick-ass south farm wedding of Rebecca & Tom? Their rock it! And I was so happy when they recommend me to their friends Hanna & Rory, which lead us to today story. These two decided to pull off one of the most amazing Oxfordshire barn wedding I ever saw in my life. Would you believe if I told you that it all happened in OCTOBER? Insane I know! Let’s dive into the day full of love, laughter and shooting aliens…?
Wedding Photographer Oxfordshire
Today’s story take place in one of my favourite venues, Primrose Hill Farm. Remarkable place where view is breathtaking and cows can be heard since early morning. If you’re planning an Oxfordshire barn wedding, then this is your place! But what about our lovers? Hanna decided to get ready at the venue with all her girls. And from the moment I arrive I could feel that it will be a superb day. All of them were super chill, excited and ready to party. As some of you might know me, this is totally my jam. Joking and chatting with everyone, making sure the bride is relaxed, and capturing natural and fun photos from the preparation.
Since the wedding barn is just around the corner, I could not stop myself from peeking inside and praising all the fantastic details that bride and groom prepare for their guests. One of them was an absolute best idea, after having pizza on your wedding. An arcade machine with a shooting game. Let’s sum it up, you dress up looking like a million bucks, sipping a drink with magnificent view on the whole county, experiencing one of the most remarkable day in your life and on top of that you can shoot some aliens! This sound pretty cool, right? So cool that I capture father of the bride already hitting the highest score before the ceremony.
Primrose Hill Farm Wedding
Things are getting serious when bride put her dress on. And when I mean serious for Hanna it means loads of smile, pride and being fabulous. Girls move on to the ceremony barn, where Rory was already waiting for her. I love Primrose hill farm for how fantastic light that place got. With a massive window lighting up the whole aisle, where the bride walks in, photos are always perfect. I can capture all the smiles and excitement of guests while seeing how fantastic Hanna looks like. And the venue also got an amazing long path for a stunning confetti shot, even if you got lots of guests. This Oxfordshire barn wedding is just about to start. The sound of champagne glasses hitting each other, happy people, and all amazing wishes guests tell for newly-weds fill up the barn. I am such a huge fan of that moment where I don’t have to tell anything and so many things happening. One thing I could not resist is taking Rory & Hanna for a quick portrait photoshoot. With these two simply being themselves and superb weather, I could not stop smiling while capturing natural beauty of bride and groom. At the same time, all the guests prepare themselves in the main barn for the grand entrance married couple. I love the energy on that Oxfordshire barn wedding, as much as I joint everyone in shouting and cheering.
Wedding at the barns at lodge farm
One of the big part for me as a wedding photographer is showing that wedding is not only romantic and touching but also wild and crazy. That’s why I love when the sun hides behind horizon and the colourful lights of band sparks on the dance floor. Not gonna lie, I personally do join the party to show them my best moves. Especially when everyone else is rocking there.
I hope you enjoy Hanna and Rory wedding as much as I did. I am sure this is not last time I saw them, and next time I see them they will be wedding guests and me…still rocking flower shirts and capturing amazing wedding photos.
