The Crown and Thistle Wedding- Newlyweds Dream Come True

The Crown and Thistle Wedding

It is great to be back here, because I got something really special to show you today. Last year I meet remarkable couple, Carys and Alex both super fun and chilled board and video gamers, such as me. We had a superb time in Greenwich shooting their engagement photos which you can find on my Instagram! Apart of amazing photos you can find there great tips for your wedding, help in planning and inspirations. But lets get back to Carys and Alex, main characters of today story. These two rock my world and make me emotional after I finish their The Crown and Thistle wedding. Prepare for some coolest wedding photos you ever saw!

The day kicked off at The Crown and Thistle with both Carys and Alex getting ready at the venue. This setup was so cool because I could jump between both groups and catch all the fun moments. Alex and his groomsmen brought tons of energy – there was laughter, jokes, and a super chill vibe. It honestly felt like a mini party before the big event, with everyone in high spirits and no stress at all.

Carys was getting ready with her wedding gang in the other room however I could hear them having a great time already on the corridor. The girls were buzzing with excitement and made me feel like part of the gang right away. Everyone was so relaxed, If I wouldnt see wedding dress I could think that this “before party”. However it was a wedding prep and the moment when her dad saw her in her wedding dress for the first time – his reaction was pure gold, with tears and smiles all around. It was the perfect start to their The Crown and Thistle wedding.

The ceremony at The Crown and Thistle wedding was something special. Having a live harpist really elevate that ceremony to another level, and readings made everything feel so personal was a really great addition. Lets dont forget about the confetti exit, one of my favorite part of the day, superb! The smiles and laughter were unforgettable was a sign of an upcoming fantastic reception at The Crown and Thistle wedding.

Then came the reception at The Crown and Thistle, and wow, it was fantastic. The weather was perfect for outdoor mingling and drinks. I really missing it due to ongoing now “50 days of rain”. Inside of the venue was stunning with dry flowers in old-school bottles, white tablecloths, jute runners, and eucalyptus leaves. It had a subtle, classy vibe with lightness. However when I saw a tables was named after their farovirte board and video games I felt like home.

The reception was a total blast. The speeches had everyone laughing and tearing up, especially the one from the bride. I really liked the wedding bingu during the time between. What a brilliant idea from Carys and Alex. It got everyone involved and having a great time.
We took advantage of the beautiful weather and the venue for some epic portrait shots. The dining room and bar area made for perfect backdrops, especially those cool couch photos. Later, we hit a nearby park with colorful smoke grenades for some fun, playful shots that turned out fantastic. I am such a big fan of adding some fun wedding party shots, instead of doing only formal photos.

As the evening rolled in, Carys and Alex kicked off the night with a perfectly choreographed first dance. The dance floor was packed all night long. And the sparkler exit? I cant imagine better way to finish The Crown and Thistle wedding.
