Not Your Average Farm Wedding – Just Ask Holly and Ben

A Farm Wedding Full of Feeling, Fun and Family

Some weddings stay with you – not because of epic fireworks or a ten-tier cake, but because of the people, the energy, and the love that’s impossible to fake. Holly and Ben’s farm wedding at South Farm was exactly that kind of day. You could feel from the very first moment that this wasn’t a wedding because someone thought they “should.” It was a celebration of everything they’ve built together – their life, their love, and their family.

The entire day was centred around what truly mattered. It wasn’t about perfection or ticking boxes – it was about being present. The ceremony at South Farm was filled with emotion, written vows that had everyone holding back tears and smiling at the same time. Their love is honest and grounded, the kind that comes from being teammates in everyday life. And that showed in every glance, every joke, every quiet moment they shared.

The farm itself set the tone – open fields, big skies, and that unmistakable charm that comes with a venue full of character. But what made it all work was the atmosphere. This was a wedding with soul. Holly and Ben didn’t plan a picture-perfect day – they created a space where their friends and family could be fully present, laugh, cry, dance and celebrate without holding back.

And speaking of celebrations – the vibe was spot on. Relaxed but joyful, elegant without being stiff. There was space to breathe, talk, hug, and just enjoy each other’s company. Even the smallest details felt personal. And the fact they served ice cream? Brilliant move. I’m still thinking about it.

Holly and Ben’s kids were at the heart of the celebration, and you could see how much it meant to both of them to share this moment together – not just as a couple, but as a family. The laughter, the dancing, the cuddles in between – it was all real, and it was all them.

The day never lost momentum. From the first look to the golden hour light hitting the field, everything felt like a proper reflection of who they are. And when Holly changed into her party dress, over the dance floor, it was the perfect exclamation mark at the end of a brilliant day.
