Chenies Manor wedding
Jessica and David’s Chenies Manor wedding, set in the lovely English countryside, was nothing short of a fairytale come true. I knew this was going to be a memorable wedding the moment I walked inside the gorgeous Hartwell House, where the bride was getting ready. The sun was shining brightly, putting a warm warmth over everything and everyone, and there was a distinct sense of excitement and expectation in the air. As a wedding photographer, I’m constantly on the lookout for those particular moments that make each wedding unique, and I could tell this one would be plenty of them. Every element, from the exquisite flower arrangements to the stunning apparel, had been meticulously planned and executed to provide a unique experience for the couple and their guests. I couldn’t wait to photograph the joy of the day and convey their love story.
The bride’s preparations at the beautiful Hartwell House were filled with contagious enthusiasm, exuberant laughter, and a strong feeling of anticipation. Jessica had obtained the assistance of a professional makeup artist and a proficient hairstylist, who collaborated to produce an awe-inspiring appearance. Jessica oozed confidence and radiance as she prepared for her wedding with her bridesmaids and mother by her side. I was lucky to get some amazing photographs of the bride, who genuinely resembled a supermodel with a definite “wow” factor. The energy was palpable, with energetic music playing in the background and champagne pouring.
The Chenies Manor wedding ceremony really was wonderful. As the guests came, St. Mary’s Church in Risborough was filled with love and excitement, and the groom and his groomsmen greeted them with smiles. Michael, my second shooter, caught every scene flawlessly. The service included readings and song singing, as well as the pair exchanging vows in front of their loved ones. After the service, the newlyweds exited to a confetti shower, with attendees greeting them with love and good wishes. Tony, their dog, even joins them in celebrating this great event. That was a very special moment and a testimony to this couple’s love.

The Chenies Manor wedding reception was spectacular. Upon their arrival, the bride and groom engaged in a unique photo session with a white taxi, which carried special meaning for the bride. The summer weather was in full force, allowing the wedding party to make use of Chenies Manor’s beautiful garden area, which was ideal for some outdoor wedding games like croquet. The bride and groom had planned a beautiful cocktail hour with fantastic drinks and wonderful nibbles, and guests were able to appreciate the gorgeous scenery while sipping on their cocktails. When the wedding breakfast neared, I was able to steal the duo aside for some gorgeous portraits inside the manor, which provided just stunning photos. I mean these two could really be professional models.
As the afternoon progressed, the speeches began, and the room was filled with laughter and heartfelt emotions. I must say that the light was perfect that day, putting a warm glow on the happy couple and their guests. We were able to take advantage of the gorgeous Chenies Manor garden and its stunning vine tunnel in between speeches to shoot some fantastic photographs of the newlyweds. I will tell you a secret… We had already been there before on their engagement photoshoot, so I knew that these photos will be epic. The guests even photobombed us a few times, resulting in some lively and hilarious images. The splendour of the Chenies Manor wedding was lifted to another level as the sun began to set, with the stunning sunset casting its warm colours over the happy couple and their guests.

Time flies and an evening reception at Chenies Manor wedding was about to start! A live band was a great choice because of their energy and the superb repertoire they bring all the guests to the dance floor. Writing this blog and looking at their photos it takes me back to that day. Truly magnificent. I knew that the clock is ticking but I had to ask Jessica and David one last time to capture two of them with a stunning sunset in the fields, just on the side of the venue. The view was truly artistic, with a mixture of yellow and orange colours of dusk, if I could only stop the time for a little bit longer. I hope that this experience will stay with them forever. Dancing in the fields with the most epic sundown we could imagine.
