It is unusual that the bride and groom are getting ready at the same place but when you got a place like Bruisyard Barn all for yourself then it would be a sin. You already might realize how fantastic Stefi looks and that is because she works with the best make-up artist in the world, herself!!! However, she trusted Mella with her hair and their work combined made Stefi looks like a million-dollar bride. She decides to go all in with a beautiful flower wedding dress which works perfectly with floral bridesmaid dresses. James on the other side of the venue was not having less fun getting ready for a big moment. Full of smile and chill tones he also decides to drop some flower power into his outfit, wearing a very fancy bowtie. I was so happy that we had a bit extra time before the ceremony. It is always a great moment to capture some portrait of the bride, and she just rocks my world. She is a natural-born model. While everyone was seated for the ceremony, Stefi and her bridesmaids walk down the road, again, looking like from a Hollywood movie. I mean just look how cool they are!
South Farm wedding
Ceremonies are way too fast for me. I like listening to the wedding vows, looking for the mother’s eyes which are focused on their kids all growing up, friends getting emotional and even this one person with baby in the back making sure to see all of it while being sure that little one not to wake up. There is never enough time. But despite how much time it takes, I always get emotional about them. Thankfully I can cover my face with a camera, haha.
If you follow my Instagram (@miraclemomentsuk) you know that I am a big fan of confetti. This one moment for me is pure must be on a wedding day. And my newlyweds after that jump into James’s restored mini (yes he did it by himself) and drive out… I am joking. They decide to have a group photo in front of the venue with all their guests. Thanks to my running skills (sigh) I was there before everyone and could use this time to capture unique Bruisyard barn wedding photography. After family photos, Stefi and James do not stop and decide to have colourful smoke bombs to celebrate their marriage and I want to recommend it to everyone who is getting married to do it. I was in the zone! So I decide to get these two, clearly for me now, secret models inside of the house and use the outstanding interior as a background for their photoshoot. Till today I have to clarify for everyone this is not a staged photoshoot but a real wedding couple who are just crazy in love.
You might think that so many activities after the ceremony took all the time of the wedding couple, that they did not have a chance to enjoy themselves with their guests. NO CHANCE! Still, after all of those things, Stefi and James could have deserved a cold drink on this summer wedding day, chat and have fun with everyone else.
