Yin & Rose - engagement shoot in London 1

Yin & Rose - engagement shoot in London

Have you ever thought where you will propose for your partner? Yin had a romantic idea to travel from China with his girlfriend, take her on tour to Shaftesbury theatre for a surprise engagement in London. I was pretending to be just a random guy with a camera on the tour following them and taking sneaky engagement photos in London . Finally, time hit the moment when Yin and Rose were on stage , everything just froze, Yin turn on their favorite song and pop a question...and she said YES! Amazing experience which I never did before but have to say that being a wedding photographer in London gives me an opportunity to experience such things. After this miracle moment , we move to take some wedding portrait shots in central London. Going around all of those significant places like Trafalgar square, Hungerford Bridge and Golden Jubilee Bridges, London eye, Westminister, and taking their wedding portraits in Central London was a big fun. It is so great to know that couples can come from so far like Hong Kong and get close in so little time. Yin , Rose I wish you are amazing , I am waiting for your wedding in Hong Kong so I can be your wedding photographer in China.

Sandra and Daniel - Wedding photoshoot London 2

Sandra and Daniel - Wedding photoshoot London

Hello, there guys! I am sure that you do remember Sandra and Daniel from their last engagement shoot in London , a shy couple from Spain but magnificent smiles and superb personalities. This photoshoot was actually planned straight away after our first meeting , but as all of us know how the weather is in London we had to wait for a perfect day which could never come. So we decide to just do it, and I was sure that no matter how the day will look like , photos with Sandra and Daniel will be remarkable, and I could not be closer to that. We decide to pick Golders Hill park and "The Hill Garden and Pergola". A breathtaking piece of architecture, placed in north London next to Golders Green station , and now quick advice for whoever goes there by car, there is no place to park really near so be ready for some walking, but it is really worth it, and probably because of that place was completely empty. Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky with the weather but I think this dark and cloudy sky contrast very well with a bright and happy couple like these two . After using every single bit of space of Pergola we move up to Golders Hill park which is separated by a small forest, and that was really lucky because finding such place in London is bit difficult. I was really jealous other photographers of that dark mood wedding photos with a lot of green trees around and single fern leaf, and finally, I got one !  I have to say that working again with Sandra and Daniel was not only a fun , but it is experience which I wish for all of the photographers, couple which trusts you and got such a grateful smile is a gift, gift which I am happy of so bad that I am hoping that was not our last wedding photoshoot in London. Thank you very much, Sandra and Daniel, you are the best!

Joyce and Tim - Engagement shoot London 4

Joyce and Tim - Engagement shoot London

If you would ask me which couple generated most excitement, I will say without a moment of thinking that would be Joyce and Tim. Couple which from the very beginning had so much positive energy that I was already sure the engagement shoot will be one of the best photos in my carrer. When we for the first time I felt that these people are extraordinary , people who look for quality and storytelling photographer . Today I can present for you their pre-wedding photoshoot which we done in very charming place in central London, Saint Dunstan Garden. Awesome light, beautiful architecture , amazing couple, what you can expect more? Because we start quite early and realizing that Joyce and Tim got this natural vibe I offered them to go for a walk and talk about their wedding in Putney, it is always good to get know each other with wedding couple, bond which we made definitely helps both of us on the wedding day.  So, walking along the Thames where was that day festival of love, Joyce spotted gigantic wall with graffiti represent this festival and moment just give me too many hints "love festival, "couple in love"  , "marriage" we had to go there and take couple shots. I can say without hesitation that this Wedding photoshoot in London I consider successful, ambience and people like Joyce and Tim, make me feel that work become fun where my task was just to take photos. I cannot wait to be their wedding photographer in Putney.

Holy and Maciej - Engagement shoot in Greenwich 5

Holy and Maciej - Engagement shoot in Greenwich

Hello! This time on our pre-wedding photoshoot we visited Greenwich. Famous for the Greenwich Meridian Line, The Royal Observatory, Greenwich University, Cutty Sark and situated on the edge of Canary Warf and City where many businesses and people work and flourish. Actually we began our shoot in Greenwich quite late (around 4pm). So why at this time? Well most of people think that whenever there is lots of light you will get your best wedding photos, but the truth is that when there is very strong light, there is such a big contrast between the shadows and highlights that the effect of it is not satisfying for me. But back to Holy and Maciek. Amazing people- she is from the Philippines and he is from Poland, and they connected together by something that is magical for every couple. My afternoon with them gave me a picture of how people from different parts of the world can be pulled together by fate and in the end place them together in front of God in a church on their blessed Wedding Day. Canary Wharf is place that emits such professionalism to me. It is probably the most iconic business districts in London, where you won't find traditional British architecture. It is a place where the sizes of the buildings compare to those from New York, and the amount of glass, smooth, straight lines, and reflective surfaces are higher than anywhere else. I like this modern photography style, where you use architecture around you as a background, and these glass buildings provide amazing reflections which create fantastic effects without using photoshop. Because we try to hit the “golden hour” we have to move quickly from each location, especially when Greenwich is such large location to cover in this pre-wedding photography. I had had this wedding photo-shoot concept for a while now, and I was very happy when Holy gave me free rein on this day. Greenwich University campus is such a stunning place, traditional architecture, fantastic interiors- my favourite place is the west wall of the Painted Hall at The Old Royal Naval College. The more time we spent, the more comfortable Holy and Maciek felt in front of the camera, and with every hour we were closer to obtaining beautiful sunset photos. The thing about the golden hour is that the light is very soft and has a naturally warm color; it gives an amazing effect every time - I highly recommend applying this natural but professional effect if you wish to create a romantic photoshoot look. At the end of the day, Holy and Maciek asked if we could quickly also do some pre-wedding photos by The London Eye. It was like a race against the sun! From Greenwich we had to go back to Canary Wharf, and from there to Waterloo station and then we had to run to employ some sunlight before it would disappear, and luckily for this couple we could exploit the last five minutes of the sunset. If you like this wedding photo story and are looking forward to the wedding of Holy and Maciek which will take place in Aldershot and Woking, stay in touch by following my Facebook page and be sure to see their special day as soon as possible.

Sandra and Daniel - Engagement shoot in London 6

Sandra and Daniel - Engagement shoot in London

Sandra and Daniel are having their wedding in Spain but they decide to have engagement photoshoot in London, so we choose most known places in Central London we start our trip just at the Big Ben. In the summer time I think that place is most visited place in London by tourists, and taking a good shot without all the crowd in the background is near to impossible, for our luck and my knowledge of Central London  just next to the Westminster there is small park Victoria Tower Gardens where wedding photography with London eye and Big Ben are looking perfect. Small distance encouraged us to visit Southbank Central, where just by luck we found place where in my opinion I took one of the best wedding photography in this season. But Hyde park was the place where everthing finish, at that time of the year should be rename to Packed park, because amount of people arriving there exceeds all thoughts. Finding a place where would not be any people or would be unseen is quite difficult , but as a wedding photographer patient is something what comes naturally and waiting for best moment is a standard. But because we arrive there just a bit before golden hour we had some time to take bit of more creative shots.
